Ela surgiu desde a pr\u00e9-hist\u00f3ria, quando as pessoas come\u00e7aram a descobrir os sons. Na Gr\u00e9cia a dan\u00e7a era vinculada aos jogos e apresentado aos Ol\u00edmpios, para isso eram criados movimentos predeterminado conhecido como coreografia, desde ent\u00e3o come\u00e7ou a se espalhar pelo mundo. Assim, objetivo deste estudo foi identificar os impactos positivos da dan\u00e7a em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao conv\u00edvio social e a sa\u00fade entre os praticantes. M\u00e9todos: Foi realizado um estudo bibliogr\u00e1fico de car\u00e1ter qualitativo. Os resultados mostram que a dan\u00e7a \u00e9 um fator muito grande em proporcionar in\u00fameros benef\u00edcios a sa\u00fade de seus praticantes. Contudo a dan\u00e7a \u00e9 uma \u00f3tima op\u00e7\u00e3o de atividade\/exerc\u00edcio f\u00edsico, j\u00e1 que trabalha a coordena\u00e7\u00e3o motora, libera energias positivas que melhora a fun\u00e7\u00e3o cognitiva e todas as idades podem se beneficiar atrav\u00e9s da dan\u00e7a.
